Tejada for Five?

Color me unimpressed - and disappointed.

Sending five players - five! - for one really just doesn't seem fair. (How long do we have a hold on Tejada now?) I know that the Astros' jumping the gun last offseason (Carlos Lee) turned out to be great (for Carlos - not so much for Adam Everett) from an offensive standpoint. This one might turn out the same way.

I guess I'm just attached to seeing Everett in an Astros' uniform. What's left for him, now? Is all this offense REALLY worth the EXTREME defensive downgrade?

Oh, I almost forgot to talk about the pitchers. We sent three pitchers. Three. THREE PITCHERS.
